For those who have seen the movie Quarantine?????

In the movie, 2 CDC people come in and do tests on the residents. when they are doing tests, one of them is attacked and bitten and the other gets away. soon after the living CDC member runs upstairs and isnt seen again. does anyone know what happend to him? just something i was thinking about when i was watching. thanks
