Got cought shoplifting and got aressted ?

I got cought shoplifting clothes abought $130 and I went to police station fingerprinted and mug shot I'm only 14..but the store got thair clothes back and the police said Imma have to go to court is it true I have to go to court.can sears just drop the case if we pay them a fine.will the arrest be on my record???? Also it's my first time getting arrested.
