What do you think of my Introductory paragraph?

You're good with that opening paragraph. The idea is to set the stage by preparing the reader for what is to follow. Paraphrasing the content is a good way to do that.. You've done that quiet well. If you follow with what you mentioned the outcome should be very positive.Good luck.
