Zombie apocolypse CDC?

so the CDC is saying theres going to be a zombie apocalypse? when is it going to happen? and why are they trying to get us prepared for it and or pandemics? does this really mean tomorrows judgement day? that we really have until october until we all die? none of this is making sense.
